  1. I love this interview.. Matt "What position do you play" Tom, "Centre Forward" Matt "I have know idea what that means" ?I so identify with you Matt LOL and I love that Tom can see that not every one eats, sleeps and sh*ts sport.. and is happy to explain in simple terms.. Well done lads and more power to Tom.. Thank you

  2. Wow what a great person. I hate MFC but now have great respect for Tom. Clearly has a great moral compass and empathy for those doing it hard. Speaks his mind and not afraid of backlash. I really hope he gets into politics or position of power after his footy career. We need more sound people like Tom to lead this country. Cheers!

  3. It great to see and hear that AFL PLAYERS not following the agenda set out to them by the AFL and from the government thinking for themselves. Us to love AFL but their agenda has turned me off.

  4. Only thing is, this guy needs a reality check if he thinks he's wage isn't 'that much'. Otherwise it's good to see people above the regular cattle thinking for themselves, seems to be rare these days.

  5. Great interview Matt, Tom I’ll follow you much closer from here on and great name drop for Chris Judd. No longer in the eye of football I’d really enjoy to hear what his views are on politics, covid, vax mandates, lockdowns and investing.
Why he removed himself from media also. On ya Tom.

  6. I know less then Matt about AFL. So this was very interesting! Tom seems like a great guy.
My respect for AFL and how it works behind the scenes was significantly increased. Tom had great podcast recommendations too. Thanks!

  7. I was wondering this xmas whether bad food is best treated as a band-aid.

If I have 5 boxes of chocolates, am I best to eat one a day for the whole year or just eat them all tonight and get back to healthy food tomorrow?

  8. I saw the Elon interview on the birth rate debate. His point was the vast majority of the population is not at replacement numbers with the exception of Africa. This causes issues decades down the track in maintaining civilisations. China is a great example of this which seems crazy given their population. Look into it it's quite interesting. Defiantly not a Elon fan boy for context. Love the old school v8's.

  9. There's nothing green about making solar panels and long life rechargeable batteries. 90% of the lithium used to make the batteries comes from dirty mining in the Congo.

  10. In late November of last year, Channel 9 mandated that all of their staff must be double jabbed. Next day, notably absent from the evening news broadcast was local Adelaide sports reader (and former AFL player) Warren Tredrea, who was put on leave for refusing to comply with the mandate. I guess he ran out of holiday leave, and he still wouldn't get jabbed, so they fired him yesterday. It's very eerie to me that the newsreaders who smiled and joked and laughed with him every night for years have just gone on as if he was never there. He's an unperson now.

  11. Tom is clearly very intelligent, polite and has a ton of commonsense. More people should listen to him. He also has guts. Something most Aussies don’t have anymore. Thank you Tom.

  12. Be great to get on the female footballer that used to play for the adelaide crows, that also said no being bullied into choices, and is now part of a law case that is soon to be in the SA Supreme Court, to call in the Governor and Police Commissioner, along with 3 others.
(then the ex Judge from South Australia, that is part of that case.
