Another episode in my Create A Club FM21 series with Holme FC. This Football Manager 2021 series starts off in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central – we’ve got no fans, no history and new owner in Mrs Wearmouth who is imposing some pretty strict rules on how we manage the club – we ONLY allowed to use home grown players! Thankfully she’s invested in a fancy new youth setup for us, but I suspect we still have a long road ahead! Strap yourselves in folks, this is going to be a long one!

Strange how the training facilities upgrade begins at the end of the season but will be completed 5 months before the work begins :') peak FM

I think asking for a stadium expansion rather then the facility upgrade would of been a better use of the money

Seriously Kevin, the save rules were just unrealistic and arguably self destructive. Under 23 maybe even under 21, but under 18 was just to much to work on to build even keep together a team to dominate Europe, you are struggling with the Championship not even the Premiership. Being forced to build a team of under 23s would have been fun enough. IF you got to the Premiership and all the money that comes with it, how would you then spend it? You couldn't. simple as. So you stay in the Premiership 10 seasons, how much would be sat idle in the Bank? a lot

I think after that transfer window Mrs Wearmouth should become a Dame. We all doubted her throughout this series but she proved us wrong. What a woman ?
You should scout out the Welsh Premier League clubs, especially TNS and Cardiff Met Uni. They produce about 1 really good youngster a year and Met Uni are amateur so they cost nothing

I feel like you should really take some of those 1-3m offers for your fringe youngsters, if you ever hope to gain money to upgrade or buy higher quality kids. 2m for Akanni, when you had experience in Bandeira and also that Ley kid for the future, is pretty good. Same for Barr, now that you’ve signed some better looking youngsters and still have experience as cover in Charles and Davies

The 50% profit clause on your signings could come back to bite you. Hopefully you'll have premier league money before those guys move on though.

In a youth save, you can sometimes buy players over 18. It's not always necessary to buy players 18 and below

Remember that you cant loan out players you bring in from other clubs if they are 18 or above as they wont become homegrown
