Another episode in my Create A Club FM21 series with Holme FC. This Football Manager 2021 series starts off in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central – we’ve got no fans, no history and new owner in Mrs Wearmouth who is imposing some pretty strict rules on how we manage the club – we ONLY allowed to use home grown players! Thankfully she’s invested in a fancy new youth setup for us, but I suspect we still have a long road ahead! Strap yourselves in folks, this is going to be a long one!

Hey Kev, when it goes to penalties – I have a simple idea. Set Harrison Davies as your penalty kicker. In this penalty series he proved himself to be REALLY reliable under pressure, so setting him up in normal matches to take penalties, would be a good idea. Also help him out to gather more goals to become best goal scorer of the team ;).
As a Spuds fan, can we have Holme FC replace them in reality, certainly a lot more fun to watch than the drab we have been serving up most of this year. I can always dream!

Has Roberts or Blamplate done anything or camera ever? They must be both over 20/21 now. Give me Richardson any day as a number 10, has everything to be a top player for you now and in the future.
That Davies penalty was *chef's kiss*. I love that he just jogged up, didn't stop, just ran in and buried it with an impossible to save spot kick.
Love this save, I’m slightly sceptical of the “it’s ok for them not to be home grown just under 18” though. The 18 rule exists because it’s allows them to become home grown. It feels slightly against the original premise and the unique idea of having a fully home grown team, I’m sure that’s what was being discussed early in the save as an aim.
At the end of the day, saves adapt, it’s your save, it’s still great but I dunno.. feels a shame imo.
There’s no point in setting throw in takers unless you are doing long throws, it just drags players out of position.

Think the database might still be suffering from having to adapt to the first season which might explain why it went to penalties
It's inevitable that Williams will have a higher star rating when he's playing Premier League football every week and Green is just sitting on the bench. If you'd been starting Green all season their ratings would probably be the other way around.
Connor Roberts made the last ditch tackle against wolves. Gets no credit at all. Poor bloke.
i'd drop mcartan from taking throw-ins completely. it's too much of a faff to remember to alter things when he switches flanks.

I think it’s time to sell Renan. He’s far too injury prone and can barely go a game without needing to come off.
I should be starting connor roberts is getting a bit old and we are the same star rating ill become a better player surely
